Hey all!

I recently (yesterday) came back to this game and decided to play a cleric. I played it up until 3.0 and know a lot about the class and feel confident with it, but I'm not so aware of the recent stat/gear requirements people put.
As a 'returning' player I was gifted this orb to refuge of returnees where I found an NPC that sells the ancient coin gear a lot cheaper than normal. (Idk what the coins are called but i'm talking about these coins )

Now my question is:
Is it worth spending manastones on this gear? (I'm certain I could get the coins pretty much for free from old friends)
And should I get the cloth set and make it a dps set or should I get the chain set with HP to use as entry gear to kata/runa/...

Is Ancient coin gear, chain (for heal pve) or cloth (for dps pve) set, worth getting for a cleric?

Well I was hoping the question would be answered for you. My choices are similar. From what I have read if you have Kahrun set and fill it with HP stones it makes a good healing set that will see you through most instances. My Kahrun set is set with magic boost just now. I have ancient coins to to get that armour but like you, not sure to go for cloth or chain and fill with magic boost and change kahrun to HP stones.

Go for Ancient Coin (Chain) and Socket Full HP.

You are then suited and booted for Kata/Runa/RST to get the Hyperion Set/Acc's too.

The Cloth full MB would be nice but worry about this after

If you have Kahrun gear, resocket it to HP. This set gives concentration a lot, it's one, if not the best healing set we currently have for pve.
AC gear ... Either buy it or sell the Ancient coins and farm Kata / Runa / Rst for a dps set.
Off the Kinah you earnt by selling AC you can buy MB stones.

I'm not playing cleric actively, but that's what I would do with mine (I have Hyperion mace set full HP cuz I couldn't finish Kahrun sadly, before they patched it to oblivion. As for DPS I use 65+13 r1 AP set with Runadium NM staff.)

Concentration and healing boost I think are so important, better heals that have better chance of not being stopped by attacks and good HP to live through attacks while you heal all, trusting that your dps guys will get the aggro back.

Keep your kahrun for pve hp healing set. If anything with ancient coins you could buy the staff for dps, it's an ok starter staff and only needs to +5. The shield is an ok start for block set too, but keep in mind you ideally want a +15 (or more) shield for a good block set in the end, so depends if you'd rather save/sell the coins or buy it for starters.
