Low mode
Create a new one, Enter its, Scaling the cylinder to the thickness of the coin
in, Select the front and back faces, and pressKey, interpolate between the front and back sides
Press againselect
Back to. Renamed it to "coin_low", so that the gold coin's low model is done.
2. High mode
Generally, high models are produced by engraving, and we stole a little bit here.
Copy a "coin_low", in order to avoid misuse, we pressHide the original "coin_low", and then use the copied "coin_low" to make a coin high model.
Back to, Create a new patch, and then add more subdivisions for it (the number of subdivisions cannot be too low, otherwise it will affect the accuracy of the gold coin relief).
Note: willSet as,willApply it.
Then add to the patch
Put the pasta onApply it, then copy a patch, flip it over and put it on the back of the coin

Select two patches and coins, then pressPass three objectsAnd integrate an object
Rename this object to "coin_high", and the high model of the gold coin is completed.
3. Baking normal
Blender can bake normal maps, but the process is more cumbersome. In actual development, you can consider using other tools to complete this step. Personally recommend Substance Painter.
Note: Before the normal map is baked, UV should be displayed for the low mold, because the low mold used in this example is built in BlenderWe have already brought our own UV display, so we will omit the step of UV display.
a. Add material for low mode
Press firstShow the low poly and add a material to it
b. Set the window layout
c. UV view
Create a new 512x512 Texture and name it "coin_normal"

Select the low mode and follow the instructions below to create the node

Set the texture to the "coin_normal" we just created

e. Set baking parameters
First select the high model, then pressAdd low model, and finally press the "bake" button
After baking, switch to, You can see the effect of the normal map.
summary
After using the normal map for the low mode, the visual effect is similar to that of the high mode (especially at medium and long distances), but its number of faces is only 0.3K, while the high mode has as much as 24K.
